kindle will use e-ink?
is there any confirmation that the kindle uses 800x600 e-ink display? Would there be any reason to believe they are trying something else?

On page 39 of the manual PDF, it says that the Kindle is using an Eink screen of some kind.

One might just as well say that the words on the screen will be written by fairies with magic wands . Does it really make any sense to talk about the details of the hardware of a device that, as far as I can see, there is not the slightest shred of hard evidence has ever existed or ever will exist!

The words on the screen will indeed be written by fairies with magic wands.

Really? I had heard gnomes. Shows how out of touch my sources are. You just can't rely on anyone these days.

You're both wrong, I have it on very good authority that it will be Pixies, with their magic stix doing the letters. Gnomes and Fairies? Psh, they'd both be way too heavy!

The Kindle doesn't qualify. Vaporware is when the company announces a product they have yet to develop. Amazon continues to deny the existence of the Kindle.
