Syncing iPod to Mac without erasing new music
I have two computers with iTunes. All the music from Computer 1 has been downloaded to my iPod. I would like to download all that music onto Computer 2. However, Computer 2 has newer music on it that is not on my iPod/Computer 1. I can't figure out how to get the music from my iPod onto Computer 2 without erasing the new music. Suggestions? Thanks.
PS: Both of computers are on Mac OS. |

The easiest way is to copy the music files from one Mac to the other using a USB stick or a drive. If you have to use the iPod, there is software available for the Mac which will allow you to access the files on it, and therefore treat it as a drive and copy them off. Then you'd load them into iTunes, and you can sync as normal. If these other tracks were purchased in iTunes, you should be able to download them to the other Mac without repurchase, so a copy wouldn't be needed.

There is Ipodtransfer.app that will transfer the music from your IPOD to your computer...

You could also sign both computers into Home Sharing with the same account, and copy the music directly from one iTunes library to the other, no need to involve any other device.
