It would be nice if you had the option to turn off the quick response area displayed in the thread. I seldom use it (I know there are others that use it often), and since it may be the cause of my IE not positioning properly at next new post I would gladly give this up.

While I'm here, I would also like to suggest that the signature portion of user profiles be cut in half. I realize this may tick off a few members but I consider this a lot of clutter and waste of space and time and energy having to scroll more often than necessary.

Thanks Nate, never even saw that there. Hope this solves my probs with not positioning at last new post. I'll let Alex know if this solves my problem.

This didn't work as expected, I still get repositioned to the top of the page of the last post, or to the bottom of the page where the quick response area has been collapsed

Good suggestion though.

*edit* I also collapsed the Similar Threads heading, this made to difference to my repositioning problem either.

I wouldn't have stayed if it hadn't been for the silliness threads. Or at least, I would have done, but I'd not've posted anywhere near as much.

have you tried using firefox ? this seems the obvious solution, if this problem bothers you... if you are using a work computer where you cannot install anything, you could use portable firefox. it can even be kept on a usb drive.

I was partially in jest about the silliness threads, but I definitely think the Karma thread would be a good one to include. Also something about uploading new books and checking for existing ones.

Is it possible to place a copy of the "nav buttons bar" (User cp; E-books etc) at the bottom of the page too ?

This has been requested in the past. While I see how it could be useful, I hesitate because the nav buttons bar adds a lot of HTML clutter to the page, thus slowing down loading times. At a later stage this year we will move over to a table less design; when we are there, it could be feasible to duplicate the bar.
