It's not reduced in the UK, it's only the HDX 7, but I got an extra years Warrenty from a John Lewis with mine so I'm happy, although if they bring out a higher storage model next year I can see myself upgrading. I really like it

On the Amazon web site go to Help which is the furthest left of the very top of selections on the top of the screen. Follow the selections until you get to the bit where you pop your phone number in and they will phone you.

I've just sent nearly 2800 txt files to My Fire, is there a quick way to clear the Carousel? Or will I have to gradually remove 2800 entry's

I'm not aware of a way to clear all of the Carousel entries, only item by item. You could just ignore them for a day or two and after you open a bunch of other apps and documents they will be so far to the right side of the carousel that you will never really notice them.

Another member on the Calibre Companion forum sorted me out. All I had to do was move the txt files from the default folder to a new folder which I set up inside the download folder. That cleared the Carousel for me.

Now with Sangria you no longer have to do one by one. You change muli check each item you want to remove then click the remove option. I've done up to 30 items so I've yet to find the limit but I am sure there is one.

I know I cleared 17 x 30 before I moved the txt files to another location (which is now the default) so as far as I can see if I hadn't done that I would have had to clear 93 x 30 before I got my carousel back to what I wanted on it. As I cleared 30 a new set appeared.

Yeah back in the old system I had to clear 6000 off the old Kindle Fire every time I did a system reset. This is much easier.

I got my Poetic case today. So now I don't have to worry about getting fingerprints on the back.
