Sony Reader jumps forward

I have a Sony Reader SRS-505. Periodically it will jump forward about ten pages when I am reading. It does this for no reason I can figure out. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you hold down the button too long it jumps 10 pages (by design ).

Oh and welcome to MR!
