Nach einem kurzen Blick, hier mal eine schnelle Einschätzung:
Eigentlich hat sich nur der Ankauf und Versand des Kindle nach D verlagert. Bücher kann man nicht direkt kaufen.

Schlau wie sie die Buchpreisbindung umgehen. ABER mit diesem Konzept könnte ich meiner Mutter (71) nicht kommen. Sie wäre damit überfordert im amerikanischen Shop nach Büchern zu suchen und dann den Dollarkurs umzurechnen. Wenn wenigstens wie bei ebay die Euronen unter dem Dollarpreis stünden, dann sähe die ganze Sache schon wieder anders aus.

Für mich allerdings lohnt es sich dort einzukaufen und zu konvertieren, wenn ich das richtig sehe. Zumindest ein Buch bekomme ich dort für die Hälfte, mehr muss ich erst checken.

Wie findet ihr den Shop?

Edit: Kaum gehe ich zurück, da zeigt er Europreise an. Da war ich wohl schneller, als Amazon

Ja, das wünsche ich Euch auch! Eigentlich allen Europäern, dass Sie in ihren Sprachen ein vernünftiges Angebot bekommen.

Hast Du denn mal probiert eins zu kaufen, die laufen doch über Amerika und wenn Du da mit einer amerikanischen Adresse eingeloggt bist, dann müsste es klappen.

"Sie erhalten die internationale Kindle-Version mit englischer Benutzerführung und Tastatur, mit der Sie auf eine große Auswahl an Büchern auf Deutsch und Englisch zugreifen können."

Es scheint der Kindle ist dasselbe international Kindle das über amazon.com verkauft ist. Ich wundere wie mit 3G internet sich ergeben wird...Total internet oder nur Kindle + wikipedia (english wikipedia ich vermute).

Soweit bin ich mit Sony zufrieden aber wenn das Kindle hier verkauft wird...mit 3G und "kaufbare" Wörterbücher (aber ohne touchscreen leider)...Ich fühle schwach manchmal .
