. Ich habe auch überlegt, den 3G zu holen, aber habe doch den WiFi genommen, und jetzt bereue ich es ein bisschen. Dein Kindle hast Du bestimmt Dienstag in den Händen (so war es bei mir: Sonntag abend bestellt, Dienstag Nachmittag erhalten, und das obwohl ich jetzt in einem Dorf wohne)

Bzgl. Kindle & Calibre: Calibre2Opds + Trook ist derzeit ein ziemlich unschlagbares Gespann - nicht zuletzt, weil fast alle Metadaten aus Calibre übernommen werden und in Trook dann eBooks sehr einfach auf verschiedenen Wegen gefunden werden können. Das ist mit Kindle-Browser + Content-Server leider nicht ganz so bequem.

Wieso ? calibre2opds mit dropbox geht auch mit K3 (ich benutze allerdings nicht dropbox sondern sugarsync, der mit calibre2opds nicht geht)

Kein Problem. Hauptunterschied liegt da für mich sowieso in Trook. Es läuft halt beim nook auf dem kleinen, schnellen Touchscreen und ist bequemer/schneller zu bedienen als wenn der Katalog im Browser läuft. Aber wir werden sehen. Ich bin jedenfalls auf den Kindle gespannt.

Was auf alle Fälle noch fehlt, ist halt der dt. Kindle-Shop mit einem "ordentlichen" Angebot - damit ich auch vom 3g wirklich was habe. Beim nook hatte ich mir ja "nur" die Wi-Fi-Version angeschafft.

Nutze ich doch auch nicht, via Dropbox ist alles schön. Aber das Shop Erlebnis bei Amazon ist noch viel schöner. Dann noch die prächtige Kindle-App auf iPhone und iPad und die Welt ist wunderschön.
