Battery Calibration Problem

I've had my 1000S for a few weeks now and am pretty happy with it. I've had a battery problem since the 1.02 firmware upgrade though. The charge indicator no longer gives me an accurate reading - my iRex consistently dies on me whilst still showing one bar of power left. This is really annoying, especially if the power cuts with no warning and I lose the notes I've been making.

I've gone through several full charge and drain cycles but it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Any of you guys experiencing similar problems? Do you know whether there is a way to recalibrate the battery?

it took my unit about 3 cycles until the battery warning came up properly.

Mine took about 3 - 4 cycles before the "longer life" started to work. I can now get a good 8hrs of use with a fair amount of scribbling. It also took a couple of resets as I've had a few quirks that didn't show before, eg the whole screen gradually losing contrast, even a close and re-open didn't make any difference, only a reboot.

mine is still trying to get a grip on itself yesterday it reported low battery after 4-5 hours, and I left it open and left the office. I've tried to start it an hour ago, and it has been working with one bar for over an hour
I guess I'll have to wait for another 3-4 cycles to get that 8 hours. We'll see

Thanks for the replies guys.

Update: I got a battery warning and graceful shutdown for the first time yesterday since the 1.02 upgrade. It's taken about 6 or 7 full charge/discharge cycles for me to get this, but things seemed to have settled down now.
