Spotify and Grooveshark on the Kindle Fire
Do you guys think you'll be able to install apps that you can get off the web?
For example, Grooveshark and Spotify you can get off of their official website: http://m.spotify.com/us/?group=android http://mobile.grooveshark.com/phones/android Both of these are not available in the Amazon Appstore. Thanks, Matt |

There have been reports that you will be able to side-load .apk files onto the Fire, see for example Eyes On With the Amazon Kindle Fire but we won't know for sure until the device is released. My guess is that we will be able to do this. Particularly since Amazon called out AT&T for locking out sideloading of their app store.

I plan to sideload a few apps like Dropbox right from their website. I think we will be able to do it. We will know soon enough!
