Screen Dimming for Night Reading

Hi all,

I've downloaded a number of screen dimming and filtering apps (Screen Filter by Haxor and ScreenDim by Omega being the most recent), and they work to an extent but there is a certain look I'm going for. If you open the default "Clock" app that comes installed on the Kobo Arc, and then tap the screen once it is open it will put it into Night mode. The text on this "Night Mode" screen is infinitely easier on my eyes than any e-reader/screen dimming app combination I can find. It just seems so natural looking, and in my opinion really emulates the e-ink look. Is there any way to either replicate this or to get in touch with a developer of the Arc to ask how to set the screen like this? Does it even make sense what I'm saying?

Thanks a lot

Not sure what you're asking for. When I use the default clock app it displays on a background of my chosen wallpaper, and when I tap the screen it dims but still has my wallpaper underneath.
