Problem with market on Viewsonic 10" GTablet

A friend of mine just bought a ViewSonic gTablet at Sears for $379.

The battery is still at 95% after 4+ hours of use. It looks great.

Now the problem. He has a trial of "Office Suite" on it, that will expire soon. He needs to buy the $14.95 version from "gmarket" (which redirects to www.handango.com.) He tries to buy it, and handango demands to know what device he intends to use it on. There is no Viewsonic nor gTablet listed.

Any ideas?

Andy

It appears your friend is not alone in his frustration with Viewsonic.

FWIW xda-developers is an excellent forum for technical information for lots of Android devices.

I'm no expert, but by reading reviews and all, it seems the G tablet does not have direct access the Market. Here's one CNET review.http://reviews.cnet.com/tablets/view...-34431221.html
