Desktop reader emulators

I've done some searches and can't seem to find any hits. What do you guys use on your desktop to emulate the Kobo/Nook and/or older Sony readers to test how your ePubs might look. I'm on Kubuntu 12.10 and Sigil 0.6.2. I'm going to try 0.7.0 in the next few days, I hope. I'm not very experienced at compiling on Kubuntu so it may take a while.

Is this a religious thing, or can you really not afford Windows? :-)

You will need a real Windows install as the current ADE won't work with Wine because it uses .net. Like it or not, you are stuck with Windows if you want ot be able to view your ePub with ADE and you'll need ADE to see how it might look on an ADE based reader.

But it may be more convenient to buy an ADE-based reader than buying and installing Windows

If you already have a Windows license, you could install it in a virtual machine and install ADE there.
