I keep writing to them every week to ask them for more books in EPUB...glad they seem to be listening.

I see that the Overdrive ePubs are readable on the Sony. Would they also be readable on the Nook and other ePub readers if they use a different form of Adobe DRM? I suppose they'd have to support the version of DRM that Overdrive uses, right? Any way to tell without actually having to download a book first?

All devices that use mobile Adobe Digital Editions can read OverDrive lending library ePubs (and PDFs). This includes the Nook, the EZ Reader's, etcetera.

The new form of DRM (using a credit card number) for ePubs is currently only available on the Nook, but is also only on ePubs from the Barnes and Noble ebook store. Adobe has said that it will be more widely supported in the future, but only time will tell.
