Color vs. color? mono vs mono?

It appears the contrast and reflectance numbers are for reflective LCD color vs. monochrome e-ink (Carta, etc).

Is there a monochrome version of this display? It might have better specs than the color version, as may also be true for e-ink (color may be worse).

According to this spec sheet, eInk "Triton" color displays still have a better reflectance (40.7%). They also support a broader ranger of colors: 4096 (12-bit) verses 64 (6-bit). Though I'm not sure how they compare in terms of saturation.

Triton displays have extremely poor saturation. Colours appear "muddy" and washed-out in appearance.
