902 902 inverts device and SD card capacity with Calibre

Hi,
I have a 902 running 2.1.2.
I use Calibre 0.8.41.
Using a PC with Win 7.

Calibre display and inverts device and SD card capacity!
I reported this as a bug to Calibre developer and they told me this is a known bug for 602 and 902 model.
Do you have any suggestion?
I have tried some workaround with no results, like changing drive letter etc

Calibre is a very good program, but it is unusable to me. no way to send ebook to the SD card. when you reach the full internal mem capacity no way to add other ebooks.

That's a small problem with the drive names which have been swapped accidentially. If you flash the latest FW (with fast update driver) it should revert back to normal.
(At least that's the version where they corrected it for the 602)

BTW, if you want your books on the card just send them to device, that is if they didn't solve the issue for 902

I would like to find a way to send my ebook from Calibre to SD directly.

but Calibre does not recognize an sd card via usb.
you have to connect a real device, an ebook reader.

I have the 2.1.2, the fishy problem is that even with the previous 2.0.6 you see on Calibre lot of book in "device_a" but it is NOT:

- Calibre just keep writing on the main mem until it is full.

If someone knows how to send ebooks from Calibre to an SD card I will be happy.
I tried on the PC side (win 7) to change the drive letters mapping but does not help.
Is there a way to do something similar on the Linux side installed on the 902? i don't know.
The pocketbook web site does not have any update. the 2.1.2 firmware version (i guess) is exactly the same uploaded in December 2011.
Calibre is really very well done and I would like not to use another one.
I have 2000 ebooks listed and I have done a big job with the Authors and titles database

This actually works. I send everything to my device, and it all shows up on the card. The 902 reads the card just fine.

you are right.
it is fast and finally the result is identical.

I did not realize at once that I could use with Calibre the:

- "display as a portable device" on Windows
- use the connect/share function on Calibre

works fine
