Computer Tech news
Where do you go on the internet for computer technology news, not business news but tech news?
Here is an example of what I am talking about, recent news articles about AT&T buying TMobile is what I would conisder business news since it effects the business and does not involve the technology. An article in CNet entitled "Senator pushes for mobile privacy reform" is government news not technology since it does not involve the technology. However the story "Adobe fixes critical flash player bug effecting reader" is technology news however minor it may be. |

I use two sources, Google News, the Science and Technology section, plus an RSS feed from Ars Technica.

I used to use Gizmodo, but lately they have been worse than useless.
Engadget is usually good, more informative than a lot of them. |

Thanks folks I believe that engaget will meet the need, Google news will not let me log on and yahoo news has legal articles in the tech section such as this lead story NY judge calls off plans for Google library, this is a legal article and has no business in the tech section.

The best place to keep up on new tech in my opinion is Tom's Hardware: http://www.tomshardware.com/
It's geared largely towared gamers, but shows a lot of new tech, like invisibility cloaks and oled tvs. |

There are lots of good tech news sources:
Hacker News: http://news.ycombinator.com/ Slashdot: http://slashdot.org/ Techmeme: http://www.techmeme.com/ Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/ TechCrunch: http://techcrunch.com/ Mashable: http://mashable.com/ The only question is how much of one's time any of them deserve. |
