Random paragraph inclusion

When I convert this pdf i have to epub the paragraphs get skewed. It looks as if someone went through and hit enter in the middle of the sentence every couple lines. New paragraphs begin where the sentence should just be continuing in the line.

ex.

normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal normal

What i get:

problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem
problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem
problem
problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem
problem problem problem
problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem
problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem
problem problem
problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem problem
problem

I have tried to use the remove space b/w paragraphs (with the 1.5 indent and with the indent set to 0), insert blank line, linearize tables, and no text justification functions in different combination with no avail. It seems like it could be a simple HTML issue, but i haven't any clue regarding HTML.

i am using calibre 0.6.37. Any ideas? Help much appreciated.

Hi otrebor,

This thread should help. Start at post #591 and keep going till the end of the page.

... and don't worry, I shouldn't think there's a single person on these forums who hasn't had trouble trying to beat a PDF into submission.

reverted to older version

thanks for your help jackie.

I had a feeling that the problem may have began after i updated to 0.6.37 so I converted a few of my pdfs that I knew converted just fine in previous versions. As it turns out even these presented the same issue. I then 'downgraded' to 0.6.31 and tried the conversion there. It surprisingly worked flawlessly (i didn't enable anything in 'Look and Feel' besides the default font size key). How convenient. I'm going to keep .31 installed on my XP partition to use for conversion then use .37 on my win7 partition for organizational purposes.
