To be honest, eReader is rather obsolete and is going away. Even B&N is doing away with eReader.

to be honest you have hated eReader for the two or three years I have known you on this forum. Thousands of people have eBooks in the format and have long waited for a eBook Reader that will read this format. While it may go away someday it isn't imminent It is the mainstay of fictionwise today.

The way most eReader books look is due to eReader being developed for a small screen. So what happens is that when that format is then moved onto a big enough screen, it doesn't look good. Plus a lot of the images in an eReader eBook are rather tiny. So overall on a modern reader, eReader is not a good fit.

You can say the same thing for mobipocket. But like mobipocket eReader made changes and has larger images and other fixes.
