Books a Million is also selling the Nook

I just noticed today that Books a Million is selling the Nook / Nook color. Interesting that they chose to sell the Nook instead of competing E-readers.

They also sell E-books, some of which I noticed are cheaper than Barnes and Nobles. It appears you read them with adobe reader. Has anyone purchased E-books from BAM? Do you just download the books to your computer and drag/drop to the Nook/NC?

Haven't purchased anything from them yet. Since there's a BAM in town (and the nearest B&N is 1-1/2 hours away), I might drop in the local store to check them out a little closer.

Maybe cheaper than B&N but still not cheap.

Books A Million was actually the first place where I saw the Nook in person, about a month ago. The sales associate was telling me all about it, and they had a very good working demo on the floor for me to play with for a few minutes.
