Cybook is now available in Australia

Dymocks in sydney are now stocking the Cybook for $599 alongside the two Illiad models. http://www.dymocks.com.au/iliad/default.aspx

They are also availabe at DA Direct in aussie as well, but again with a $600 price tag. Booken also posts them worldwide, which I think is a little bit cheeper than DA or Dymocks (ie $40 when you convert the currency)

That's actually quite competitively priced for Australia. $599 is roughly £290 so not far off the UK price. It's probably cheaper now than buying overseas and paying the postage costs

I don't agree it is competitively priced. Not when you can get a Sony PRS-505 for about $430 at the moment (which includes currency conversion fee as well) from the B&H Photo site.

What is the relevence of the price of the Sony? It's a completely different product, with different capabilities. If you want the ability to look up words in a dictionary, read MobiPocket books, load your own fonts, etc, then what the Sony costs is irrelevent, since it will do none of those things.
