Device Setting lost after restart

Had some troubles with collections on PRS-T1 which I brought up earlier. Eventually the problem narrowed down to the automatic connection between Calibre and Sony PRS-T1 reader. I thought the problem was solved after reinstalling Calibre. But alas, after shutdown and restarting the PC it’s the same trouble again, Calibre doesn’t connect to the reader automatically.
Did some testing and I found out that when I delete customize.py in users/appdata/roaming/calibre and then do the setting Sony PRS-T1 in ‘Preferences/Device Interface Plugins’ again, it works as it should be.

Beneath is the content of that file. Can expert(s) please shine a light on it. Seems strange to me that SONY PRST1 appears under # disabled plugins and isn’t in the list of available plugins in the Debug Device Detection file
