Device: Foliant on Nokia X6
Nokia X6 Smartphone driver

Hi

I have just started using Calibre to handle all my ebooks and have to say that it is the best piece of software I have used for this, in fact it's awesome!

However, it fails to recognise my Nokia X6 as a valid device and while I can obviously use the save to disk option to transfer my ebooks, it would be nice to be able to use the send to device facility. I am, therefore, posting this in the hope that you will be able to include a driver in a future release.

I use the Foliant java app as my reader which supports EPUB, FB2 and TXT formats and store my ebooks in the ebooks folder on the device's mass memory.

Here is the Debug Device Data for when the device is plugged in:

Code:
Version: 0.7.44

Until this is supported, use the Connect to folder option to connect to a specific folder on the device. Once connected calibre treats that folder as a device and you use the Send to Device feature to send books.

You need to specify in which directory Calibre should put ebook files.

Thanks for the prompt replies guys, looks like the forum support is as awesome as the software. I'll check out the folder option when I get home, thanks again.

Tried this out last night and it worked a treat. Many thanks

Thanks a lot. I did download and install 0.7.45 last night and noticed that this version was recognising my Nokia X6 as a Nokia E52.

Thanks again all
