If you watch the animation demo at the Polymer Vision site:

you'll see that the display can be inverted for right or left-handed use. Not sure if this feature will be in the final product though.

Of course, that must be a mock-up display, the battery meter doesn't read full!

In Digital Devices Star at IDPF’s Digital Book 2007 from publisher's weekly is the following:

So presumably it will be available in Italy very soon. Based on its advertized capabilities, I may get one when it is available in the US.
