Shows your K4NT any wear, after one year in use?

I mean how durable is the back and the paint?

I have an old kindle three and after one and a half years there is no wear and tear at all. I think that if you talk to some original kindle owners they will have no wear and tear either.

Yes, I have the Kindle 3 (Kindle Keyboard) too, great device, high quality plastics.
But how are the 4s?

Looks to me like a poor paint on the back.

My K4s, bought from Amazon one year ago looks new from the front.
But, the back from 2/3 down is full of small darker grey blotches.
I never did put a case to read, stored it in a leather pouch which has a silky inside.

These dark blotches are not fingerprints either, I am one of those neat freaks who washes her hands too many times daily.

The Silver after a year looks really bad on the back. Mine is stained a ugly brown in places where my cover has rubbed off on it. Other then that some of the page buttons are not as responsive it looks like it always has.

Agreed the paint on the Silver back has issues. The black has a different finish on it so hoping it doesn't get the smudges.

That's me too. I wash my hands constantly.
