Any way to download & print Kindle article?
I have a K2. Most of what I read are internet articles I paste into MS Word and then Email to Kindle. After I have read an article and highlighted it, I would like to move the highlighted article from Kindle back to my computer where i can print it out with highlights.
Is there any way to do this? Douglas Johnson |

To save the article without highlights: -Believe it or not you need to highlight the whole article... all the pages. I reduce the font to size 1, so you have fewer pages to go through. -Connect your Kindle to your computer with the USB cable. Look for the "my clippings.txt" file in the documents folder. Copy that folder to your computer and open it. You will see the whole article without highlights at or near the end of the file. To save the article with highlights: -Since highlights are saved in the book's .mpb file, the only way I can think of to be able to print your highlights is to save each page as a .gif file. Press alt+shift+g on each page of the article (usinga font size you normally read) and a .gif image will be save in your Kindle's documents folder for each page. Note: If you run into a clipping limit post again and I'll tell you how to get around it. |

Welcome to MobileRead, Douglas!
Thank goodness for Daffy, because I know nothing about the Kindle!! Be sure to check out the free ebooks you can download from MR. You might find even more uses for your K2! Enjoy. Happy Reading! |
