Seek VERY simple e-reader
Hello. Complete neophyte here. Computer-savvy (PC), but never owned a pda or even a cell phone (!). Travel a lot (with a netbook) and would like to carry a smaller device with travel guides and my own documents, scanned text, etc. I do not plan to read novels on it at this stage. Any suggestions? Thanksl --littlereba

Check out the MR ebook reader matrix. This will list the most popular devices with their various features. This should hopefully help narrow down what you are looking for. The members here will be more than willing to help pointing out pros and cons of each device. |

If you are looking at having third party travel guides on it you may want to shop around for available content before settling on a device because in my experience there isn't a wide selection available now.
