Best wishes and encouragement for Deputy-Dawg

On a personal note, in this thread, Deputy-Dawg mentioned that he had a "coronary event April 23" and had a quadruple bypass.

This is obviously a challenging time for him as he goes through rehab and recovery. So I just wanted to take a moment here to offer my congratulations on completing the surgery, and my best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery and for him to find comfort as he recovers. Hopefully you have some good pain meds to get you through the post-op times!

On behalf of the entire community, I want to wish you well Deputy-Dawg, and get well soon!

Dawg:

Bypass operations are now named after famous people that have had one. For example the old double bypass is called a Regis (although he denies he has had one), the triple is named a Larry (King), a quad is named a Bill (Clinton), and a penta is a Dave (Letterman.) Now with the quad that you had also comes a whole bunch of interns and groupies.

Hmmm! A Bill is what it is called. Odd my first name is Bill (no the last name is not Clinton.

Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers. And, yes, the Reader is being exercised a great deal more than I expected.

I'm late to this game, after my own brush with food poisoning (don't order the pork ptomaine), but I'm glad you're doing better, DD.

You should probably leave the interns alone for a bit, 'til you fully recover.
