why plucker?

Hi,

Wondering why Plucker uses Jpluck or sunrise to convert html files?
Why not make it view html files without conversion?

thanks
Mutsu.

Mutsu, I am not a programmer, but from what I understood parsing pure HTML would require a lot more processing power, especially if it is done on a small device. Those desktop clients take the processing requirement away by optimizing the content for speed and efficiency.
