The Hero of Ages: Book Three of Mistborn
Hi,
I just found out that all three books by Brandon Sanderson are now available as ebooks, the first one being given away for free by tor. Imagine my dismay when I saw the price- 20 dollars Now, the hardcover costs as much and I am supposed to pay that for an ebook? While not a lot of money per se, I do have to earn that and don't see the justification for that high a price... Oh well, guess I will have to wait a bit cheers, kaas |

Book 1 and 2 are 7.99, book 3 is 9.99... or course you probably have 1 for free from TOR. BOb |

ok, you got me there! who is Denny Crane? A quick search shows him to be some kind of actor for a series - or did you mean somebody else entirely? Last edited by kaas; 10-23-2008 at 03:20 PM. |

Do I recognize sarcasm and amusement in that sentence? Let me tell you, young lady, that with my 27 years, I have aquired wisdom and smarts beyond accounting!
I am the epitome of getting smarter with age- at least one IQ point per year, beginning with a base of 50! That makes me smarter than... say a coffee machine actually, if i think about it- the coffee machine at my working place has cost 14K Euro and probably is smarter than me now you have done it and I am truly depressed kaas p.s.: it is still broken every third day...what a waste of money Last edited by kaas; 10-23-2008 at 04:26 PM. |

sarcastic ? me ??? never ! especially about someone whose name means "fromage". everybody knows how smart cheese is after all. i mean, if you can get a job in a place that has a 14K euro coffee machine, you must be doing SOMETHING right ! right ?
(i really am sincerely sorry about the capillary effect in microelectronics circuit boards though). Quote:

do not make fun of cheese- t'is a noble and tasty creation. the peak of human achievement and -if i remember correctly- when i lived in france, was quite well liked by the french!
thus it is only natural for me to strive for the same level of perfection and tastiness like cheese. I would also have you know, that the moon consists of cheese and all great inventions were related to cheese! kaas |
