problems with the layout

Hi,
I´ve POSE for palmOs 4.1 and Tungsten E.
My problems now are with on screen layouT:
Is there any way to adjust my layout to the screen of the handheld while coding HTML? It´s a teadeous work to
  1. HTML code
  2. convert to iSilox
  3. load in to POSE/Tungsten E
  4. adjust the layout outside of the handheld
  5. Repeat 2 and 3
I´ve tried with a table size 160 x 160, but had no luck...
Any other suggestions?
How large (in pixels) shoul I set the size?

Any help we´ll be appreciated
/Peter

Peter,

I know the trouble you are going through trying to code html which looks nice afterwards on a PDA. Honestly, I don't know of any better way than what you described. I wouldn't assume a 160x160 or any other fixed size, since PDA screens differ in size.

What I can offer you is a list of good resources for coding web pages for handheld devices:

http://www.avantgo.com/doc/developer...tyleguide.html
http://www.palmpower.com/issues/issu...gotips001.html

I hope this can be some help for you.

Greets
Alex

thx Alex, but I can´t say that I´m getting any smarter...
But I have some questions about Images:
  1. Do you recomend unchecking the " the Resize large images" ? Or should I trust isiloX doing the resizing?
  2. what do you recommend about "Lossy compression"?
