However, if I remove paragraph breaks and remove the indentation, it becomes the following



How do I get it to come as close to the way the paragraphs look like in the pdf?

Not sure what you mean by 'remove paragraph breaks and remove the indentation', you may want to describe what that entails in terms of conversion options being used.

Make sure the line unwrap factor under the pdf input options is set to the default of 0.45.

Sure,
Under the "look & feel" option of book conversion,
I checked "Remove spacing between paragraphs"
and changed the "indent size" to "0.0 em"
as shown below



OMG YOU ROCK!!! It's done it appears just as the pdf now
