Footnote problem with New York Review

Recently (in the last month or so), the recipe for nybooks.com (subscriber version) no longer correctly reads the footnotes from the website. It creates a footnote marker in the main text but doesn't collect the actual footnote content. Presumably something on the nybooks.com website has changed.

I'd try to fix the recipe myself, but the footnotes seem to be something handled semi-automatically and I'm not sure what by need to be changed.

I'm using version 1.9 on OSX.

Post a link to an article with footnotes, it will need to be a non-subscriber article. I looked through a few articles and I could see no footnotes.
