PRS-505 for $199.97 at Costco (USA only)

Good news for our american members.
Quote:
Costco B&M is clearing out the PRS-505 models, I went to the one in Pentagon City, VA and Chantilly, VA and bought a total of 11 readers with 11 AC adapters by Sony for $199.97 each prior to tax. Costco online still has the original price of $269.99.

Call your local Costco to verify clearance price and inventory before going. The first store I went to only had 2 left, the one in Chantilly originally had 11 left, I went next day only 9 were left.

igorsk didn't buy them (unless he drove from Belgium to Virginia to hit up Costco). The quote is from the fatwallet post he linked to.

I stopped in the South San Francisco Costco today and they had three left at $199.97. Keep in mind that the Costco model includes the official Chager worth $30, so the actual cost of the reader is $170. I don't think this can be beat for a NIB 505.

FWIW, the three boxes were not on display but in the electronics security area. Only found them because I gave a clerk the item number from the website.
