Or you can do it the Android way:
  • Go to Settings --> Applications --> Manage applications --> "Running" tab
  • Select the current home application (for instance "AWD Launcher EX")
  • Click "Clear data" and then "Force stop"
After doing that, you'll see the home selection window again...

PS: Please, test this procedure and tell me if it works as expected to add it to the wiki...

As this is the Home button thread, I'll post another option for folks running the ADW launcher. My current setup is as follows:

Android system set to open the ADW homescreen when I press Home button.
ADW settings customized so that pressing the home button again (when I'm already at the ADW home screen) triggers "Continue Reading" to take me to my current page in the Sony Reader app. (This second Home button action can be configured to fire any app or activity by going to ADW settings and modifying the "Home Button Binding" setting).

You dont have to "delete data" this also delete your configuration... just delete "standard"...
