PRS-600 PRS-600 screen problem

Alas, my PRS-600 seems to have a problem with the screen controller. Basically, the screen isn't being erased between page turns, so after a couple of page turns, the screen is just full of garbage and totally unreadable. An overnight charge, and soft and hard resets haven't improved things.

I'll try phoning Sony, but I think it's a "send it back to be repaired" job.

It's lucky that I have spare reading devices...

Just phoned Sony, and they confirm that it needs to go back.

Back to reading on my CyBook Opus until it comes back

Exactly and problems can happen to the very best of products. We buy a lot of electrical items and gadgets - most of them no issues but we had a sony slr camera which didn't work from the off. Luckily we bought from Amazon who exceeded our expectations by sending us a replacement which was with us the very next day AND before we even sent the defective camera back. Very trusting of them but then we've both been customers for years.

At least it was under guarantee
