Try blowing on it. I think some are breath-activated.... you have to blow from the side. The side you want to change.

At one time or another I've done all of them, run my finger along the edge of the book looking for the next page button, dropping my thumb down to hit the scroll wheel, decided I'd turn up the font size etc. etc.

I'm not dim, I'm well adapted to eBook reading
