Ebook from PDF with pictures

Hello all,

I need a piece of advice about format choice:
I have loads of technical documentation in PDF format. They're generally long (up to around 1000 pages), include loads of screenshots, and are formatted for a computer screen. I'd like to read it with my BeBook but it's a pain to have to use the zoom.

Now, my BeBook can read a lot of formats and there are quite a couple of converters around, but the question is, what is the best format to read that kind of content? What would you recommend? And are there simple ways to convert from PDF (can't relink manually hundreds of screenshots over thousands of pages...)?

Thanks in advance for your help.
