I humbly apologize for staying on topic!! What WAS I thinking?

Did you know that on Saturday it rained here most of the day, and we got a total of 1/8"?

But it did knock down the dust and make everything smell good......that was the last rain until the summer 'monsoons', I'm sure.

From 9am yesterday until 9am today we had 163mm of rain (about 6.4"). I think that brings us up somewhere at about 350mm for the month so far.

It's been a bit wet.

That reminds me of where we spent the 12 years before moving here.......an average of 44" rain per year. That would be about 1117 in mm, right?

Because it was a hilly area, nary a worry about flooding, just had to try and cut the grass often enough since it grew so quickly during the summer!

I remember one 24 hr period, a total of 11" 279mm and you couldn't even tell after the sun came out. We figured it all ran into the lake.....
