Pinch to zoom and folder structure

Hi, after reading the posts here, I am thinking to buy a Kobo Touch. Before I make up my mind, I have two questions hope to get your help:
(1) does kobo touch allow pinch and zoom? This will be important because I use the device to read 2-column academic PDF files.
(2) does kobo touch keep the folder (directory) structure of the files stored in the SD card?
Thank you very much.

I believe that it does neither. Browsing/accessing files is not the easiest on the KT, I haven't played with PDF files though.

The only reader that has multi-touch zoom in the new Sony PRS-T1. It does not have folders. It has collections.

Kobo Touch handles PDF books well but no pinch to zoom. It uses slider on bar or + - on end of bar. You can drag enlarged viewing viewing area around on page and change pages forward and back even in enlarged view. It works good given interface and e-ink limits. Helped by a fast processor. Kobo file system is really limited but improved file system will be released "real soon" when ever and what ever that may be.

Hey, speaking of zooming, is there any way to zoom into a picture in an ePub on the kobo touch? I ask because the book I'm reading has all these maps I wanna look at, but they're too small to read anything.

Can't zoom into picture in ePub yet. You could after converting ePub to PDF format.
