Disney to buy Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion US... Will Spiderman get therapy?

Will Spidey get psychotherapy? Will Bruce Banner get suppressed? Will any more characters get to die and then get better? Will comics get special, even longer copyright than other forms of entertainment? Stay tuned, as goody-two-shoes Disney will be soon be owning all the neurotic and stressed out characters of Marvel.

does not need to be true. seen lots of disney char that smoked in the past.

wonder what way disney will take this..

Anyway, the article points out that the existing movie rights to the characters haven't been transferred away from the rival studios of Fox, Paramount and Sony... and that happens to include Marvel's most popular characters. So Disney gets the rights to make movies of... what? Hawkeye? The Falcon? Moon Knight?

With Disney's prospects already fading, adding a bunch of B- and C-list superheroes to their fold won't accomplish much. They'd be better off making an Incredibles sequel...

Wolverine in the reboot of Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolverine?

The new Fantastic Four - the Incredibles (oh wait - that was the what they were modeled on).

Now for Time-Warner to buy DC - Flash vs Speedy Gonzales, Daffy Duck vs Green Lantern.

Oohhh - my head is spinning!

I had heard that a contingent of low-life criminal types have been hanging out in the Hundred Acre Wood and so now Spidey can go help Pooh and Piglet and the gang.
