1.7 or 1.7.1 works well?

Hi, I am still using firmware 1.6. I know it has been 1.7.1 for a long time. So could someone tell me whether the 1.7.1 is stable enough and is better than 1.6 and is worth upgrading to 1.7.1? Or is there any bug in 1.7.1? Thanks.

Both are buggy. And I doubt there is change comparing to 1.6 -- the bugs I encounter are probably pretty old, so if you didn't see any it simply means you didn't see any (yet).

Unrelated note: it is really puzzling what is going on with firmware quality. Mp3 players, ebook readers, majority of soft included look more like testing phase product, not stable and reliable one. Shame.
