Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon is currently $1.99 in the Australian Google Play store as part of their End of Tax Year sale. I didn't notice anything else worthwhile in the sale in fact a number of the books are not even really on sale they are short stories that have always been $2.99 or less.
