Greetings from Quebec, Canada
Have just joined as I am seeking help to connect my wife's Kindle to our home Wi-Fi network.
I have tried many times to connect to our home Wi-Fi which is a Belkin G Router no joy. Tried on a neighbour's Wi-Fi network which was installed by Bell Canada but still no joy. Went to a local Future Shop and used their Wi-Fi network after obtaining their network name & password from a technician. It connect without a problem. Has anybody any suggestion as to what must be done to connect to a home Wi-Fi network? Regards, keithr |

Welcome to mobileread .... I wish I could help, but not owning a Kindle I can't. Mind my PB won't talk to my wireless router, either - but that's a WEP password issue ! That you managed to log on at a shop suggests it's a setting that needs to be tweeked. Can you use USB cable for linkage ? Have you had a look in the Kindle Forum and even posted the question there ? |
