Kobo freezing after discoonect from PC

Hi all:

I recently got a kobo reader and have been using Calibre to load epub books to it but almost everytime I would load books to it and then disconnect it from my PC it would freeze or corrupt the kobo database leading me to believe it was the calibre software as when I just added books with the kobo (or Borders software) I had no issues.

That said after reading some things in these forums I came to the conclusion that it was corrupt epub files or poorly constructed ones causing the issues. SO I tried using Calibre to re-convert before uploading each and every file ( a pain I know but better than another hard reboot) and it has found several files that it cannot re-convert so I de-select and upload the balance of the files. So far it has worked on over 100 books. Hope this helps someone else.
