Stock kindle 2 filesystem (2.0.3 or newer preferred)

Howdy,

I have a very extensively modified kindle2 with custom code/patches all over the place. Stock os is based on 2.0.2 handpatched up to 2.0.3. Essentially its a a mess. Working on getting 2.3 applied to my kindle has wasted several hours so far and while doable is getting to be more trouble then its worth. Unfortunately all of the kindle patches are just that, patches to existing files. Does anyone have a stock or fairly stock dump of a kindle 2 (us version) filesystem that they could provide to me or have any other ideas to resolve this dilemma.

I can try to create an image of my filesystem, but I'm kindle DX global 2.3.3...

Unfortunately I don't think that would work, I appreciate the offer though. I am about to just buy a new kindle 2, grab the filesystem and return it. Tried calling support last night but got laughed off the phone so I am not sure what other options I have at the moment.

On the DX filesystem there are both instances for mario (kindle 2) and flora? (kindle dx) platforms.
Also there is also the ppp scripts for both the sprint (US) and global versions... I am pretty sure that amazon deploys an unified filesystem that auto-configures itself.

Buff, the image is freaking huge... 250MB that contain the whole rootfs filesystem.

It is clean, with only the usbnetwork hack installed (that you would need to uninstall) ...

Just to verify that the rootfs is equal to the one on a kindle 2 US, I have attached the md5sum of the rootfs.

If someone could be kind enough to check the md5 signatures on a kindle 2 US, against this list you could really verify that everything is fine.

Unfortunately it didn't work as planned, had to revert back to 2.0.3. Appreciate the help, but it looks like its going to be a weekend of handpatching for me.
