"Holiday" (1983) by Madonna. (Thought of it because "holiday" was the prompt for the MR word association game I just played, and I associate that song with that entertainer.)

Hair-raising NPR news report about the cannibal cop's trial. Remember Gilbert Valle, the former NYPD officer who plotted to kidnap, rape, cook, and eat women? The one who accessed police data to get information about potential victims? Wise jurors convicted him of kidnapping conspiracy and sentenced him to life in prison. Then Monday, after serving 21 months in prison (during which time he was assigned - get this - work as a prison chef), he was back in court, where he turned around and smiled at his family (brrrr), had his sentence overturned and reduced to a misdemeanor, and will be set free. Watch your backs, ladies! (And your ribs, drumsticks, breasts, wings. organs.)

"You" By Jim Brickman and Tara McLean
I have the version with Jane Krakowski and it's one of my favorite songs. While looking around YouTube I happened upon this version with vocals by Tara McLean and it's a terrific version too!

Treasure, by David Helpling and Jon Jenkins (although this Youtube video only credits David Helpling). I got the CD when it came out, several years ago. I think it works well with the "light walker" backdrop.

I'm a fan of epic music, and Two Steps From Hell is one of my all-time favorites. They've recently released an album, Miracles. The music is said to be "less epic", but still it's a great album. Here's one of my favorite tracks, Compass (featuring the vocal of Merethe Soltvedt). The video clip provides both the original Norwegian lyrics and the English translation.
