running custom kernel on kobo
Hi!
Is there any chance to run a custom kernel on kobo without swapping SD? Yesterday I tried kexec but no success. It seems that kobo kernel is compiled without kexec support. How can I overwrite existing kernel image? Any ideas? I dont want so swap SD... |

If you place a kernel uImage in .kobo/upgrade and create an empty KoboRoot.tgz in .kobo the device will overwrite the existing kernel with the new one.

Best thing to do would also to backup the original one... just in case! I was planning to experiment a bit on this front as well, to try making the android image from Tolino to work on the AuraHD. If I'm successful I could give you some help, or viceversa.
