PRS-300 + Chinese fonts

Hello,
I have been reading the forums and haven't really found clear information on how to flash the 300 for chinese support. I found a lot of information for the 505 and even the 600 but I am not comfortable undertaking this without another user verifying they have done this.

So, has anyone added chinese fonts to their 300?
If so, how exactly did you go about doing it, could you point me in the right place?

Thanks for the link, unfortunately I don't speak Chinese, I'm doing this for my wife, I used google translate but its not quite clear enough, I will see if she can translate it but its very technical.

One other thing...I converted the chinese novels to pdf but they load VERY slowly, does anyone know why that may be?

Ok I think I get the of what you are supposed to do but I have some questions.

1. I think you have to extract the russian img file and then replace the russian font with the chinese font. They say to use cramfs, but I have no idea what i'm supposed to to there. The page just references 'brush' a lot, and I have no idea what Brush is.

2. Where do I get the Yahei font rar file? Can i just use Microsoft Yahei from my Pc.

Please see the #62 floor, there are the improved steps and screenshots:

Steps:

1 下载刷机包，解压出sony reader目录，拷贝至database那个区，与其并列。
1. Download refresh file below, extract the directory "sony reader" then paste to database disk.

2 脱机，自动运行脚本，看见刷机菜单，按5保存，再看见刷机菜单，按6开始刷，再看见刷机菜单，按9重启。o pening book的时间比较长一点。应该就成了。
2. Unplug the USB cable, run scripts, you will see the refresh menu, press 5 to Save, then you will see the refresh menu again, press 6 to start, press 9 to reboot when the refresh menu shows again.

过程简单，要注意的是，拷贝刷机包以前，关掉PC上的sony联机进程。
Note: It's simple but you should turn off (kill) the SONY connection process in PC before you copy the refresh file. "Should be in Task manager if you are using Windows OS"

Ok that worked great, thanks a lot!
Now I have a new problem....how do I convert chinese pdf's to epub or lrf so that it actually displays on the device.

Since I flashed, the title now shows, but the text body is all garbage. I thought flashing the chinese firmware solves this problem?

I am converting with Calibre and I can't seem to get it to work.
I also can't really find easy information on how to embed the fonts either. However, I was under the assumption this was not required as I have flashed with Chinese fonts.

The pdf I converted displays fine in calibre but not on the device, please help!
