Happy Holidays, New Member, Author
Hi everyone and happy holidays.
I'm John Sauer, a new member to the MobileReads forum. I joined to stay abreast of what people are reading, help promote my book The Divided Man, and learn about trends in mobile reading that will help me be a better writer and provider of content. Here is my bio: Author John Sauer has always moved to the rhythm of adventure. He has been a video game script writer and producer, copywriter, professional big game fisherman, technology products sales and marketing guru and a glass artist. He believes that wonderful things happen when you break convention and have the courage to try. He is a firm believer on Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism. Other published works by Sauer include books on how to beat video games from Prima Publishing and IFTW Books. The Divided Man is his first work of fiction and is the result of years of study of Native American history, mythology, and cultural drift. When he is not getting stories on paper Sauer recycles glass into countertops with his studio GleenGlass LLC near Portland, Oregon. At various times of the year he might also be found in the high mountains or off the North Shore of Oahu trolling the deep blue eternity. The Divided man can be found on Kindle, Nook, and for all other e-reader platforms. You'll find me approachable, easy going and passionate about good writing. Very best, John Sauer |

Welcome John Sauer,
Nice to meet you, you sound like a kindred spirit. Glass blowing huh? I have always been fascinated with blown glass and watch the process whenever I can. In another life I owned a home decorating store and we sold tons of blown glass - mostly from the Seattle area. Your book intrigues me, I am drawn to Native Americans ~ in fact aboriginals from all over the world. I have just downloaded the book straight to my Kindle. Which means it will be closer to the top of my TBR list. Usually I download to my Kindle for PC first, then pick and sync from there. I will be passing right by you in early March on the way to golf in Bandon. All the best for your book. Sharon |

Hi Sharon,
Thank you and thank you for buying The Divided Man. I hope you like it and will tell me either way. I do not blow glass but melt piles of recycled glass into countertops and sinks. The technical term is fusing. Native culture is fascinating as is cultural drift. I have not played out at Bandon but it is a beautiful place. I will check out your book as well. Happy Holidays and thanks again, John |

Good morning Cassidym and thank you.
I was wondering how many books have you read on the iPhone and and what has been your overall experience with books on the little screen? Best, John |

I will for sure tell you if I like the book. Stuck now reading a heavy print tome my oldest brother sent, he wants to discuss the concepts with me. Oh joy! No, really I am delighted about this but would have rather waited for a while. The bro I am going golfing with now has found another 'must do' course in Oregon at Florence - Sand Pines. This could go on... Have a happy Christmas! and all the best for the New Year. sharon |
