Nope, it's not legit. They appear to be pirated copies. There is no way you can sell MS Reader format eBooks on a website that doesn't handle the DRM.

Hmm, I guessed as much...
Does anybody know of a good ebook store which sells all of modesitts books (or the recluse series)? I already tried fictionwise and diesel-ebooks without success... thanks, kaas |

Kaas, since it's very likely the site isn't legit I removed the link.

Fictionwise and BooksOnBoard have the 14th book and Sony has 12 & 13. Other then that, I cannot find any others.

It's perfectly reasonable to sell something in NON-ENCRYPTED lit format. isn't it? After all, you can make your own, the creation software is free, and you (as the publisher) are not required to use the encryption. Now, if the books are *supposed* to be encrypted, then that's a different thing, but Baen legally sells books in lit format. |

But these are commercial books still in copyright. Most of them are not available for sale as legal eBooks. And if they were available, they would have DRM attached to them. if you had seen the site, you'd know 100% that it was an illegal sale from eBook someone found on the darknet. So basically, people are using this site to sell illegally obtained eBooks.

Actually, Baen sells their books in non-DRMed LIT format.
